 Jon Sarta is a Pianist, Composer, Vocalist, and Recording Artist from Clermont, Florida in the greater Orlando area. Currently the Director of Music and Liturgy at Resurrection Catholic Church in Winter Garden, he has served in the music ministry as a Director and Associate Director of Music in the Catholic Church since 1991. He is best known for lively, inspirational interpretations with an influence of Blues, Gospel and Jazz Piano and having a unique ability to get congregations to fully participate in the celebration of the liturgy.
Jon’s educational background includes a BA in Fine Arts and Music from Farleigh Dickenson University, two years of post graduate work at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a concentration in Arranging and Music Synthesis, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Music program at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.
His professional credits include being an on call staff Musician at Walt Disney World since 1989, playing at numerous venues such as; Ragtime Piano on Main Street USA, accompanying at the Hoop De Doo Review Show in Fort Wilderness, Lobby Pianist at the Grand Floridian Hotel, keyboards with the Kids of the Kingdom Band and Pianist/Organist at weddings and receptions.
He was the pianist/Hammond Organist at New Jacobs Chapel in Clermont, FL for two years backing Gospel Choirs. He was also lobby pianist at the Crown Plaza Airport Hotel and played the signature Steinway Grand at Nordstrom’s in Washington D.C. Metro and in Orlando.
Jon is the founder and currently operates MLJ Music; an independent Label with 21 released CD’s sold worldwide in the Classic Jazz, Instrumental piano music and Catholic/Inspirational genres. His Catholic Music Project series is used in many churches across the United States in smaller parishes who do not have the resources to employ a musician. The thirteenth recording of this series was released in February 2011. He also teaches private lessons in his Clermont, FL studio.

| MLJ Music (named for the Gospel writers Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), was founded in 1995. Although we are a Catholic Christian company, we are active in all areas of the music business, the sacred and the secular. We specialize in Catholic Music and Boogie Woogie. "We" is usually me for the time being.
We love life and the joy of simple living. Music is an integral part of the good life.

If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?
So do not worry and say, 'What are we to eat?' or 'What are we to drink?' or 'What are we to wear? All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
