Boogie Woogie Piano Minimize
Rock-A-Boogie (2008) is a collection of Boogie, Blues and other fun stuff developed playing in front of crowds at the Boardwalk and on Main Street USA at Disney World. Containing mostly straight ahead original Boogie Woogie and Blues, the songs are simple, melodic and rhythmically powerful.
Original Boogie Woogie Project Boogie (2007) is a collection of improvs done in the MLJ Music studio. They evolved by taking a simple groove or idea and developing it. Cover Photo: Circa 1940's. The ladies are working in a factory taking apart pianos for the metal, which was to be used in airplane engines for WWII.
Honky Tonk Train Boogie (2006) is 14 hot new Boogie Woogie, honky-tonk, barrelhouse, and blues piano pieces recorded in two days in July 06 at the MLJ Music Studio in Clermont, FL. Recorded on a Steinway B Grand Piano with all its little noises and occasional rattles.
Absolute Boogie (2005)  13 all new original songs. Equipment used: Steinway B Grand Piano, Kurzweil K2500 Keyboard (Boogie in Blue) 2 Mics, a click track and Pro Tools. Real music for real people. No overdubs, punch ins, cut and paste or quantizing. Enjoy.
Boogie Woogie Salad (2004) is a creation that has evolved over the last 4 years. It was time to get it out, warts and all. All songs are first or second takes. No overdubs or creative editing. Just like the old timers, whatever came out came out. No cheating. Hope you enjoy it.

Ecstatic is the most fitting word for my feelings listening to your superb piano productions, especially the sort of boogie I have tried to play, and sought for 65 of my eighty years aboard this globe. And my wife, who shares this feeling, has left orders that this kind of boogie be played at her wake in order to convey the sheer joy it brings into troubled times. Not only that, but your music transports me back to 1938 when I first heard boogie on the free jukebox in our Catholic parish hall, among some hymns, and began my lifelong search for more of that great link. Heartfelt thanks to you, Jon Sarta, for the thrilling and repeatable experience.
